Vanderbilt Divinity School to host 2nd annual Art, Advocacy & Action symposium

Beginning February 11 and spanning three days, Vanderbilt Divinity School will host its second annual Art, Advocacy and Action symposium.

On February 11, performance poet, activist and transformational leader Sonya Renee will speak at 6pm.

The following evening, the writer, cultural commentator, advocate for trans women’s rights and New York Times bestselling author of Redefining Realness: My Path to Womanhood, Identity, Love & So Much More Janet Mock will speak at 6pm.

A daylong set of events culminate the symposium on February 13 including performances by Lyndsey Godwin, Melissa Gordon, Contemporary Christian artist Jennifer Knapp, and Desiree Dallagiacomo.
