Well, Opryland Hotel is in full Christmas mode now. It is really quite spectacular! I walked throughout the grounds in complete wonder of how long it takes to get all those lights in place and how much time and care those plants require. WOW! It is something to behold. They also have a beautiful light/water show that you can see by boat or while enjoying dinner and drinks and all this is on the INSIDE of the hotel!! (Climate controlled, certainly a plus!) Now, for the OUTSIDE of the hotel, I am sure if you have driven by the hotel at all you have seen the gorgeous display of white lights decorating the trees and bushes surrounding the hotel. So, if you really want to get into the Christmas spirit, take a stroll over there.

Speaking of Christmas spirit, I caught the movie, “Deck the Halls”. I wanted to get into the Christmas Spirit this night! Can’t you tell?  It was “cute”, not really what I expected it to be, BUT…there was a lot of snow and Christmas humor so I guess it worked. If you want my opinion (and WHY wouldn’t you??) They would have gotten a few more laughs if they would have made Danny Devito, the “SANTA CLAUSE”! (I realize that is an entirely different movie, but…think of the endless jokes he could pull off, as Santa. Such as,  he could be mistaken for one of his OWN elves, impersonating Santa, see?) This movie has it’s moments, but I was expecting a different movie, for SOME reason (maybe it was the ‘teasers’ leading to the movie) I thought these 2 neighbors were going to be trying to ‘out decorate’ the other (which in hindsight made no sense at all, since neither of them were gay!)heehee But, now that I think about it, why DON’T we have a ‘gay Christmas’ movie?  I mean, after all, have we forgotten…”Don, we now our GAY APPARELL” Doesn’t that mean we should all head down to JOE, grab some ‘gay clothes’ and go out Christmas Caroling?! I shall give this movie 2.5 VALSTARS. And most of those were for the, “Pamela Sue look alike” that plays Danny’s wife!teehee (NOT THAT I AM INTO THAT SORT OF THING, MIND YOU!!)

The Out and About Today Show started taping on Saturday mornings this month. The shows are going to be very interesting this month, so be sure to catch them when you can (see time schedule below) There is a segment on “Holiday Stress” (hell, THAT could be it’s own spin-off, now that I think about it!)

WHAT ABOUT THOSE TITANS BEATING THE MANNINGS???heehee (Sorry INDY girls!! But, I think you all knew it was just a matter of time, right?) Ever since Bullock gave that famous, ‘LOCKER ROOM REAMING’ this team has started to play together. I guess we will have to give it up to PACMAN (just like he knew we would someday) He is really starting to shine. He is playing offense and defense, does this mean he swings both ways? The more I watch Vince Young the more I LIKE Vince Young! I just hope he doesn’t do something crazy and get hurt. (Cause, I’m not sure if PACMAN can QB too, but hey…. If he can stay out of jail long enough, I guess it’s possible.)

Isn’t Dakota Fanning an amazing child/actress? She is so mature for her age, both onscreen and off screen. I want to see Charlotte’s Web, but I KNOW I will cry like some ‘BIG OLE BABY’ (NOT that there’s anything wrong with that!)
