Well, AMERIGO’S didn’t let us down again this time. It was amazing!  I had the Chicken Marsalas, which was a delicious compliment to the crispy, roasted mashed potatoes! YUM! Need I say anymore?? Mich had the eggplant parm, which she says was quite tasty, although when she compared it to BUCA, she sadly admitted that it came in second! (She loves her some Buca eggplant!)

Being the responsible adults that we are, we spent the night ‘cab hopping’. Let me just say that this is quite expensive! NOO…not as expensive as a limo, but then considering the death traps we were riding in, it was very costly, again…NOT as costly as a DUI, but…I think you get the picture here, right? Which leads me to my next thought and that is, we need a service that will come and pick up our cars AFTER we start drinking. Most of us can usually drive TO the place where we start drinking, but afterward will not leave our cars behind, for fear of it getting vandalized, towed or worse yet stolen! So, this is where we can call that company and have them come pick it up for a fee and then we are free to continue on partying! What do you think, isn’t that a fantastic idea? Yes, I KNOW it is not as cheap as a designated driver, but then again, how many of us have friends who can tolerate our drunk asses, while they remain sober?

Checked out LIPSTICK after AMERIGO’S and found that they now have Weds. night WII! Imagine our delight when we had to listen to Guitar Hero played over and over and over and over again?!  (NOW… I KNOW where the phrase ‘head banging’ really came from!) I’m sure Johnny can relate, uh…I mean Nissa can relate, since Johnny still thinks she IS Guitar Hero!! (hmm…maybe Johnny Rotten??)  Finally, I was able to get a fast game of WII Bowling in, thus quieting the guitar thrashing!  Jonda ended up winning the bowling, BUT… I am sure I came in a close second (after all it IS her game and all…)

Stopped by the ASCC Rummage Sale on Sat. at UNITY Church. Deborah said they ended up bringing in about 1,000.00, which will open the door for their next project July 16th @ Mercy Lounge.  They already have ROCKETOWN scheduled June 20, which features Kristi Neumann, Marna Taylor, Jesse Terry & Band and Daniel Solis.  Tickets will go on sale today!  ASCC is really starting to roll! Anyone interested in donating or participating should contact the ASCC below.

I guess this brings me to "SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE" …uh….I couldn’t watch it! I TRIED for 34 minutes and then just couldn’t follow through and yet….I keep hearing what a great movie this is?!  I feel like Elaine from SEINFELD when she hated the movie "THE ENGLISH PATIENT"! (remember that?) Which by the way, I didn’t care for that movie either!  Somebody…please help to understand, HOW this was such a GREAT movie?
