Nashville Originals Restaurant Week kicks off August 19-25


I don't know about you but the majority of my disposable income is spent on food, whether that is dining out or grocery shopping. So when I heard about Nashville Originals Restaurant Week, kicking off August 19 and running through August 25, I was quite excited.

Whether you have always wanted to try one of the more than 30 participating restaurants or looking for a rather inexpensive date, there are plenty of options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Check out some of the highlights from area restaurants below:

417 Union (lunch): Menu includes choice of southern classics Fried Chicken, Meatloaf, or Pork Chop (with two sides and a biscuit), fountain drink and choice of dessert. Best part dining for two will only cost $20.13.

Holland House (dinner): Three course menu includes choice of Northern Bean and Corn Chowder or Spinach salad, choice of Center Cut Pork Chop, Pan-Seared Wild Caught King Salmon or Mushroom Risotto and choice of their delectable dessert. Three course menu costs $30.13 per person.

Tin Angel (dinner): Three course menu includes three different menus to choose from: Italian, All-American and Spanish. Each menu is priced at $20.13 per person.

Table 3 (lunch and dinner): Table 3 offers two two course menus. Their lunch menu, priced at $14.13 per person, includes choice Table 3 Mixed Greens, Crispy Duck Confit or Vicchyssoise (chilled potato leek soup) for starter and for main course diners can choose between Mussels steamed in white wine, Table 3 Burger or Coq Au Vin. Dinner menu is priced at $23.13 and be seen at the above link.

Other restaurants include Arnold Myint staples Suzy Wong's House of Yum and PM, 55 South in Franklin and F. Scott's.
