The 25th anniversary season of the Nashville Ballet opens with the world’s best-known classical ballet, Swan Lake. Featuring a full cast of exceptional dancers, beautiful sets and choreography, the ballet is accompanied by The Nashville Symphony, performing Tchaikovsky’s enduring score.

For more than a century, Swan Lake has engaged audiences and inspired new generations of dancers, who are challenged by the ballet’s technical demands and the ability to express all the human emotions, hope to despair, terror to tenderness, and melancholy to ecstasy.

Performances are Friday, Oct. 29 and Saturday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 2 p.m. Tickets are available on the Nashville Ballet website, and may also be purchased by phone at 615-782-4040.

Subscriptions are available for the Nashville Ballet’s upcoming season. Packages start at $39, and subscribers can select their choice ballets and performance dates within these packages.
