MCIT Bowling set for July 22-24

More than 120 bowlers from across the U.S. and Canada are expected to participate in the 2005 Music City Invitational Tournament, to be held in Nashville July 22-24.

Cumberland Lanes in Antioch, Tennessee is this home of this annual gay and lesbian tournament sanctioned by ABC, WIBC and IGBO. The tournament is in its 13th year.

The first place winner will take home the “All Events Trophy”,  sponsored by Gibson Guitar, USA , which has donated a Les Paul Electric Guitar to the first Place Highest Combined All Events Scorer. Epiphone, a divison of Gibson Guitar, USA, has Donated a Special ii Electric Guitar as the sponsor of the 2005 MCIT Charity of Choice award.  

The 2005 MCIT Charity of Choice is Kids Fighting Aids, Inc. a non-profit organization that provides assistance to children and families with children living with HIV/AIDS.  

Registration for the Music City Invitational Tournament is at the host hotel Holiday Inn Select, 920 Broadway at 7 p.m.  Doubles and Team events are Saturday at Cumbeland Lanes 3930 Apache Trails, Antioch at 10 a.m. and Singles events on Sunday at 10 a.m. with the tournament banquet following at the host hotel at 6 p.m. For more information contact Richard Beswick at 615-419-6467 or go to www.mcitnashville.com.
