The COVID-19 crisis continues to push back or cancel events in the Nashville area. This year was to mark the first every Franklin Tennessee Pride Festival. However, this morning, the organizers announced that the event would be rescheduled for next year, in the following statement:

With the health and safety of our community in mind, the Inaugural Franklin Pride event currently scheduled at the Franklin Theatre has been rescheduled to next year, Sunday, June 6, 2021. For additional information visit our website.

PFLAG Franklin is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization. We are part of PFLAG, which is a national non-profit and the largest grassroots family organization of its kind, with over 400 chapters across the country. PFLAG promotes the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ persons, their families and friends though monthly support meetings, where we provide an accepting space for dialogue, and educational programming for community members about issues concerning sexual orientation and gender identity. PFLAG Franklin has met monthly since 2011.

We look forward to our fabulous Franklin Pride in 2021. In the meantime, stay safe, stay well.
