More than $1,200 was raised for Amanda Shemwell, a 13-year-old-girl fighting leukemia and facing a bone marrow transplant, at DeVil’s on January 23rd.

An all-star cast of talent from several nightclubs in Nashville packed the house. The  Benefit for Amanda show was put together by Jackie Walton and his Partner Kelvin Amburgey (a.k.a. Dakota St. James).

“Kelvin and I organized the Benefit. We were home one day and I had the idea and it started from there,” Walton explained. “Kelvin and I called the other performers and asked them if they would help out with the show and everyone was more than happy to come together to help them out. Amanda’s parents, Tony and Mia Burke, are friends of the community, and everyone wanted to help them out”.

Angelica Devil, Glenn Tuten, Dakota St James, Scarlett Redd, Nichole Ellington Dupree, Sapphire Mylan, Chyna, Erica Douglas, Julie Phillips, Penny Kostal and Trinity Monroe all came out to support the cause, donating their time and talent in a show that raised $1,268 for Amanda.
