In addition to all of the Pride festivities, June offers Nashville-area folks a plethora of opportunities to enjoy. Here are the highlights:
6/2 – Indigo Girls release One Lost Day
The iconic folk rock duo will drop their brand new studio album at the beginning of June.
6/2 – SOAK releases Before We Forgot How to Dream
SOAK is the music of 18-year-old Irish singer/songwriter Bridie Monds-Watson, who will make her world debut with Before We Forgot How to Dream on the 2nd.
6/10 – Poppy Champlin appears at Zanies Comedy Night Club
Comedienne Poppy Champlin will headline this Nashville Pride fundraiser.
6/12 – Concert for Love and Acceptance featuring Ty Herndon at The City Winery
The inaugural Concert for Love and Acceptance event, hosted by Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning artist Ty Herndon, along with political commentator and author Meghan McCain, will feature a number of artists and special guests, including Antigone Rising, Desmond Child, Billy Gilman and Jennifer Knapp. For a full listing of those to appear, as well as information on VIP tickets, click here.
6/16 – Adam Lambert releases The Original High
Vivacious vocalist Adam Lambert will release his third album mid-month.
6/28 – Mary Gauthier plays The City Winery
Nashville-based singer/songwriter Mary Gauthier will share her stellar Americana storytelling, along with Allison Moorer, at the Winery at the end of June.
