We're back with another Your Gay Week(end) and this week we've got the Music City Sisters' Alphabet Art opening, a chance for you to show your support for LGBT students with a GLSEN Ally photo shoot as well as Yoga, Drag Bingo and and so much more. Friday September 6
There's plenty going on around Nashville (and Tennessee) Friday September 6. First, you can attend the opening of the Music City Sisters' Annual Alphabet Art at OutCentral. Quite possibly the only juried, exhibit of LGBT artists, we've seen a sneak peek and there were a few pieces that arroused interest.
HotMess Kickball kicks off their 3rd and most successful season to date Friday evening with a special mixer event at Tribe. The event runs from 7 – 9 p.m..
Make your way over to Play tonight for a one-night only event as Deception takes the stage for the first time since her battle with leukemia.
Road trip? Then head over to Memphis this weekend for the 16th annual OutFlix Film Festival. Several great films are screening over seven days including opening night film Bridegroom. Other weekend highlights include The Rugby Player, a mother and son story that shows who us who our heroes really are, and The New Black, a powerful new documentary that examines the intersection of race, sexuality and religion. Saturday September 7
Get your car washed first thing this weekend with the sexy Nashville Grizzlies. At Lipstick Lounge from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. this is not to be missed!
Get ready for Ballet in the Park at the end of September with another great outdoor park performance. Shakespeare in the Park presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream through September 15. Pre-show starts at 6:30 p.m. and the performance starts at 7:30 p.m.. Free admission but suggested $10 donation. More information here.
No matter how old you are, you're never too old for the state fair. So check out the Tennessee State Fair today (through September 15) and stuff yourself with cotton candy, funnel cakes and more. For more information on the Tennessee State Fair, click here.

Sunday September 8
Nashville Gay Parents announces the Wealth Planning for LGBT Families Workshop with Barrington Gist, MBA of Morgan Stanley. The event will be held on Sunday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m. at 752 Madison Square in Madison, TN. Child care will not be provided, however a space is available for parents to bring their children with a sitter. For more information, visit here.
Head over to East Park in East Nashville as HotMess Kickball plays their first games of the season beginning at 1:00 p.m..
