VanReece fundraiser kicks off campaign

Nancy Van­Reece announced plans in August to run for the Madison-area coun­cil seat held for the past seven years by Michael Craddock. A fundraiser in her honor is planned for Wednesday, Dec. 15 from 5:30-7:00 p.m., and will be hosted by Mark Lopez and Patrick Boggs at their home in East Nashville. Directions can be obtained at the fundraiser’s Facebook page.

VanReece is a 20-year resident of Madison and District 4. Born in Oklahoma and educated at Baylor University, she worked in the music business for nearly 25 years providing a variety of licensing, publishing, marketing and branding services. Through her company Carpe Diem Management, VanReece currently is the Sr. Director of Social Media Strategy & Development for Cool People Care, Inc.

Attendees are asked to make a $25 donation to support VanReece’s bid for Metro Council. Please contact Jim Schmidt to join the Host Committee for a $100 contribution.
