Did anyone happen to catch Rosie on THE VIEW this week? I did catch her getting ready to carve a pumpkin and while she was trying to ‘out-do’ Martha Stewart, who had pulled out her own little mini tool kit, Rosie declared she was about to carve hers, “the gay way” as she pulled a drill out from under the counter and started drilling away. Before it was over Joy was also using a drill…hmm… I did hear that Rosie is about to get another TV show too, based on the character she played in Nip and Tuck. Did anyone see that performance?

I caught Steff’s gig at PLAY Thursday night. She was performing as part of, The Smoky Mountain Rodeo Association. She sounded fantastic as usual. The place was packed with cowboys, I didn’t think that many people would go out on a RAINY Thursday night…but, what do I know?? They were using their hats for umbrellas, I suppose. Charn was standing in playing bass with her, in fact the whole band was different, with the exception of Nancy the drummer. She did play my favorite song, “I Tend to Lose Things” by herself and I managed to catch a ‘photo op’ of her poor band just pining away waiting for their chance to get back on stage.

The Predators kicked some ‘serious’  Northeast Butt this past week. They did a New York Sweep!! (in a NEW YORK MINUTE!)heehee They have begun to catch fire and I don’t think it was just because they beat the DEVILS!! Then, they came back to town and LOST in front of us again! GEEZ! It was still a good game though. Billy Ray Cyrus sang the National Anthem, then we did happen to catch him in the hall for a photo op. (That photo will have to wait till the disposable camera is develoed)  You know, he is one good looking guy without that mullet! I ask him where it was and he told me he left it at home. They did have a Mullet Contest that night and he was the judge.  I think his opening statement went something like this…"4 SCORE AND 7 SISTERS AGO, THE MULLET WAS BORN!" Believe it or not, there wasn’t one lesbian in the contest!!!
