Tennessee Equality Project (TEP) will hold its annual meeting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 7 to elect a new slate of Board members. The meeting will be hosted by Holy Trinity Community Church, located at 6727 Charlotte Pike in Nashville.

The organization plans to offer social and educational activities before and after the annual meeting for general members, supports, and potential and current Board members. More details will be available at a later date.

TEP’s Board is a group of volunteers committed to advancing and protecting the equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their families in Tennessee. A list of board member responsibilities is on the event’s Facebook page.

Members of TEP may submit nominations for election to the Board before April 7 to the Chair of the Governance Committee, Brandon Hutchison at BHutchison@tnequalityproject.com.

If your membership is not current for 2011, you can become a member or renew your membership at their website: http://tnep.org/join/.
