Teens who targeted gay man ordered to write apology

The Southern Standard newspaper has reported that three teens who attacked a Warren County gay man’s home with paintballs have plead guilty.

The juveniles were placed on probation on Monday, May 7 and were ordered by the juvenile judge to write an apology and mow yards for five weekends.

"This was such an idiotic, bone-headed thing to do," Juvenile Court Judge Larry Ross is quoted as saying to the teens in the Southern Standard. "What in the world would you have done if he had thought you were firing real guns and began returning fire as half the people in Warren County probably would have done.”
