Schedule set for Advancing Equality Day on the Hill

TEP is preparing for the third annual Advancing Equality Day on the Hill on Feb. 20. The group has been holding training sessions in preparation for the day. The lobbying day will start at 8:30 a.m.  Organizers describe it as "a day in Nashville meeting with your legislators to express your views on proposed legislation affecting the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community."

Advancing Equality Day on the Hill will be held on Tuesday, February 20.

A reception for equality advocates attending Advancing Equality Day on the Hill will be held at Tribe on Monday, Feb. 19 from 7 to 9 p.m.

The Tennessee Equality Project has announced several meetings with legislators.  The meeting times are below. If you are interested in participating, contact TEP at info@tnep.org.

The day begins at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center: TPAC’s Johnson Theatre, 505 Deadrick Street, Nashville.
