The event, which raises funds for the TEP Foundation, is an official Nashville Pride Pre-Party, kicking off a weekend full of pride events. The foundation was recently given a $113,00 donation by Taylor Swift, who said she was inspired by the work that was being done and standing against the current “slate of hate”.
The $50 ticket price includes an open bar, noshes, and music. As of early April draft beer was going to be provided by East Nashville Beerworks, moonshine by Short Mountain Distillery, food by The Experts, Chef Jay Kill and desserts by Lisa’s Culinary Creations.
New this year will be a photo booth, and everyone will be able to leave with a print from the photo booth so be sure to dress in your most festive pink or purple outfit!
IDs will be checked at the door, so be sure to bring a valid ID.
The event was inspired by an event in support of One Colorado hosted by Christopher Ott and his partner Jeremy Simons, who now reside in Nashville. That Denver event is now in its 14th year, and after the success of Pink & Purple in Nashville, it’s safe to say we may look forward to more here in the future as well!
