Nashville’s premiere LGBTQ+ Music Festival, OUTLOUD Music Festival, is expected to sell out this year, nearly tripling ticket sales from last year. With headlining talent that includes Greyson Chance, Kim Petras and Gia Woods, OUTLOUD represents a new breed of music festival celebrating LGBTQ+ artists. Pride celebrations across the United States featuring Queer talent boasted record attendance this year, demonstrating that LGBTQ+ artists are in demand.
Featuring 14 artists on 2 stages, OUTLOUD’s musical lineup features LGBTQ+ Artists that regularly sell out venues all around the world. On the one hand, it is surprising that the South could play host to a non-Pride Queer Music festival on this scale, but, on the other, it’s Nashville, Music City, known for showcasing great talent.
OUTLOUD is now in its third year and has drawn visitors from all over the Southeast. The festival is produced by Jack Davis from Good Neighbor Festivals. Davis also produces Nashville Pride, which saw record attendance this year.
OUTLOUD will also feature a variety of local Music City food and beverage options like Bearded Iris Brewing, Steaming Goat, Boutique Burger Bar, King of Pops, Ice Crown, Diskin Cider, Larceny Bourbon, New Heights Brewing and 40+ local vendors.
The one day event will take place on September 14, 2019, in Midtown Nashville near Nashville’s most popular LGBTQ+ bars. General Admission tickets are available for $25 and Meet and Greet tickets with Greyson Chance and Kim Petras are available for $75 at OutloudMusicFestival.com.
