Out & About Newspaper, Tennessee’s largest GLBT monthly newspaper, and Out In America City Networks, a network of more than 168 local city Web sites, have teamed up to offer O&AN advertisers a special rate (click here to read about the ad campaign).
Out & About Newspaper (O&AN) provides much of the local news content on the local Out In America (OIA) Web sites including Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga.
A special rate of $165 for four months ($41.25 a month) for a “leader board” (728 x 90) ad on the Out In Nashville Web site has been reserved for O&AN advertisers (click here for details). Those same advertisers can also receive a one-year “Priority Listing Phone Book Listing” for free with the four month ad placement – a $150 value. The banner ad will also be designed free of charge, an additional bonus.
“We value our advertisers and are excited to be able to negotiate this exceptional rate with one of our great media partners,” said Jerry Jones, O&AN publisher. “This is a great added benefit for our advertisers and will allow them to continue to have a broad reach to the GLBT audience.”
Alana Haberman, advertising sales manager for OIA, said she was excited to offer the deeply discounted rate to O&AN advertisers. A 60 percent discount off the OIA retail price is being offered.
“We value our relationship with O&AN and we want to extend our appreciation to their current advertisers as a way to say ‘thank you’ and to open up a new avenue of marketing to a great consumer base,” she said.
Out in America Cities Network has more than 700,000 members in 168 cities, with a growth rate of more than 15% each month.
“Currently in Tennessee we have more than 15,000 active members and deliver more than 20,000 page view impressions each day,” Haberman explained. “This aggressive growth pattern allows you to have a very cost effective use of your advertising dollars.”
Hit Wise, a national web tracking organization has ranked Out in America as the second largest GLBT Web site in the country.
