Nashville Pride Festival to feature Artists’ Village

Nashville Pride Festival will feature a new addition this year, an Artists’ Village comprised of two dozen of the area’s top artists who will be exhibiting their work.

Festival organizers are seeking an eclectic mix of original art, including paintings, life size sculptures, photography, glass, wood, jewelry, collage and ceramics, that will be on display and available for purchase at the Riverfront Park gallery.

This highly anticipated and requested addition to the festival appeals to people of all ages as a fun weekend activity, as well as serious art buyers looking to add to their collections.

“We will strive to ensure there is something for everyone,” says festival director Jason Hunt. “Our goal is to have a wide variety of artwork that appeals to many different tastes and price levels.”
Interested artists are encouraged to apply to secure a space. Artists will be hand-selected from applicants based on quality and diversity. All artwork should be original and handmade.

Artists will be required to be on-site for the duration of the festival. For an application or additional information, visit

The Nashville Pride Festival will be held on Saturday, June 18. Nashville Pride’s mission is to educate and maintain a sense of pride, community, and awareness of, about, and for GLBT culture and people in Middle Tennessee.
