Recently voted 2013 Best Peroming Arts Group by Nashville Scene readers and in close races for several wins in the 2013 Gay Faves, Nashville in Harmony keeps rolling out the hits- this time it's the holiday hits as the city chorus prepares for its very special holiday concert event, TENsational: Sugar Plums on Thursday, December 5.
Sugar Plums marks the first time that NiH has performed at the historic Ryman Auditorium. NiH will perform its greatest holiday hits from the past 10 years with all the trimmings, fun and surprises that audiences have come to love.
NiH will welcome special guest vocalist J. Karen Thomas from the hit TV series Nashville to join the chorus for its holiday special. In 2010, Thomas released her debut CD Love Just Happens and has numerous TV and film credits to her name. “I’m excited to be a guest vocalist with the amazing, 140 voice Nashville in Harmony choir," said the actress/singer/voice over artist.
Nashville in Harmony will also be welcoming as special guests the internationally acclaimed instrumentalists Julie Adams (cello) and Richard Smith (guitar), both hailing from Middle Tennessee. Ms Adams is also a family member of Nashville in Harmony, having sung with the chorus in past seasons.
