NASHVILLE – Nashville in Harmony, Middle Tennessee’s first and only city chorus purposefully comprised of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and straight people, has been nominated for the White House Pride Month Champions of Change Award.
In the coming weeks, a White House panel will review the video submissions from the nominees and then select a group of semi-finalists. In late May or early June, the public will be able to vote for the finalists to be featured as Champions of Change at the White House.
By attending the Champions of Change event, NiH hopes to further accomplish its goal of building community and creating social change.
