Nashville CARES is hosting their annual fundraising gala Avant Garde on Saturday, February 16 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This year’s theme is Moulin Rouge.
Event chairs, former contestant on NBC’s The Voice, Cody Belew, Chris Murlin, Matia Powell, Kate Prince, and Ron Sanford invite you to a night of spectacular-spectacular entertainment and visual delight in the beautiful and decadent world of Moulin Rouge! Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
The evening will include entertainment by The 12 South Band, a drag performance by The Princess from Season 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race and a rousing burlesque show by the Music City Burlesque dancers. Guests will partake in a Parisian-inspired feast from Bacon & Caviar and can indulge in signature spirits and cocktails courtesy of Lipman Beverage Distributors.
Our live and silent auctions will feature luxury vacations, hotel stays, tickets to local events and so much more. The live auction will be emceed by Nashville’s own Sheri Lynn and Brenda Kay, the Jugg Sisters of NashTrash Tours. The entire evening will hosted by recording artist Cody Belew.
