Hate Crimes & History Week- Oct. 22-27

Monday, Oct. 22:
Lambda will be doing tabling in the KUC with a focus on hate crimes and bullying in the LGBTQueer Community from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 23:
Lambda will be selling Drag Show tickets in the KUC and new Student Union from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 24:
Lambda will be spreading flyers for our LGBTQueer History Panel happening on Thursday night as well as selling Drag Show Tickets in the KUC and Student Union from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

That night Lambda will be screening "MILK" followed up with a discussion about the LGBTQueer Civil Rights movement in America in CKNB room 109 from 7-9 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 25:
Lambda will be tabling an event known as "Beyond Hetero-normative" putting a focus on how being straight isn’t necessarily "normal." We will be tabling in the KUC & Student Union from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

That evening Lambda will be putting on a first LGBTQueer Historical Panel showcasing the change in LGBTQueer life over the last several decades in CKNB room 109 from 7-9 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 26:
Friday night Lambda will be putting on it’s third Fall Drag Show. This year Lambda will be donating the ticket profits to the Just Us program out of the Oasis Center in Nashville, an organization that helps GLBT Youth who are in crisis.
