ME2 Productions, LLC is proud to announce the opening of full operation on July 1, 2005.

The brainchild of Cathey Stamps, Stephanie Callahan, Kris Kelly and Kathy Mac, ME2 will release its initial CD compilation featuring nineteen independent artists with a website and package tours to follow.

Stamps is a Nashville percussionist, songwriter and producer who has worked withnumerous artists including Jonell Mosser, Jen Foster and Mindy Smith. Callahan is half of the successful indie duo Halcyon and has organized and promoted musical events for over a decade. Kelly is a radio veteran and a morning radio personality for 107.9 The River in Nashville. Mac is a member of three-time Grammy nominated recording act Wild Rose, has performed on two Grammy-winning compilations including "Will the Circle Be Unbroken II," and has engineered and stage managed for numerous artists including Prince, Aerosmith, Anita Baker as well as multiple National Public Radio programs.

"We’ve all been in the music business for years and have seen so many unbelievably talented people who just needed a little help to get the audiences that they so deserve," said Stamps. "With ME2 we have the chance to provide some information and assistance that can save new artists from struggling to reinvent the wheel. What better way to give support and expand crowds than to combine our resources and crosspollinate audiences."

The initial CD compilation features 19 artists from various genres including Jonell Mosser, Jill Paquette, Kristy Lee, Jenny Madison, Project Winterhaven, Jen Foster, Wall of Jules, the Diane Ward Band, Cheley Tackett, Kristi Neumann, the Donna Hopkins Band, Lauren Ellis, Rachel Owen, Anne E. DeChant, Nini Camps, Sirens, Halcyon, Steff Mahan, and Edie Carey. The first concert is scheduled for July 3 in Tampa, FL and features Mosser, Mahan, Lee, Halcyon and The Diane Ward Band. A second show is scheduled for Atlanta, GA on July 15 and features Owen, Tackett, Neumann and Foster.

Additional concerts are in the works for Ft. Lauderdale, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., New York, Asheville, Cleveland, and Nashville.

"As a musician of sixteen years, I wish there had been something like this when I was starting out in the business," said Callahan. "It’s about having the opportunity to help talented newcomers step over some of the hard parts of starting a music career. I’ve been through it the hard way and have a lot of knowledge and experience to share. Plus it’s a way to help listeners sample a variety of great acts that they might otherwise never have a chance to hear. It’s about power in numbers."
