Man who claimed to have cure for cancer, AIDS cited for contempt


A man who claimed to be a doctor and purported to have a cure for terminal illnesses has been cited in Nashville for contempt of court.Oludare Olomoshua violated a judge’s order to remove the claims from his Web site.

Judge Barbara Haynes ordered him to pay 38-thousand dollars in civil penalties and about 13-hundred dollars in attorneys’ fees for violating the temporary injunction she issued in the case last month.

The state sued him in November and sought the injunction, saying he was practicing medicine without a license and making unsubstantiated claims about his products’ ability to cure individuals of illnesses.

He claims to be able to cure cancer and AIDS.
