Lexus Nashville Fashion Week seeks local, regional designers


Lexus Nashville Fashion Week’s designer selection committee is seeking local emerging and experienced designers interested in showing Fall 2012 collections at Nashville Fashion Week, which will be held Mar. 20-24. Interested individuals are asked to submit an application by Jan. 31.

Applicants must live in or have connections to Nashville or Middle Tennessee and must be available to show their collections on any night of Lexus Nashville Fashion Week. Collections must be original designs, debuting at Nashville Fashion Week, and include 15-20 cohesive looks. Application guidelines provide full details as well as benefits provided to selected designers. Selected designers will be notified by the designer selection committee by Feb. 10.

Lexus Nashville Fashion Week celebrates the city’s thriving fashion and retail community and its array of creative talent. Proceeds from Nashville Fashion Week benefit the Nashville Fashion Forward Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, awarded annually to advance the career of select local talent with demonstrated experience in a fashion-related field. Nashville Fashion Week is being planned and directed by Creative Co-op Nashville, LLC, a volunteer collaboration of fashion, retail and media professionals who have partnered to combine their resources and passion to create this event.
