‘Girl on Girl Comedy’ performance benefits Nashville Pittie


“Girl on Girl Comedy," a new comedy series in Nashville, will continue their run with "Doggie Style," a fundraiser to benefit Nashville Pittie. The show will be Thursday, May 5 at Mad Donna’s in East Nashville. Showtime is 7 p.m. and tickets are $5.

Entertainment includes stand-up comedy and music, and all performers are pit bull and pit bull mix owners.  Stand-up comedians scheduled to perform include: Christy Eidson, Gary Dull, Brian Swinford, Joel T. Wilson, and Steven Hall Jr. Heidi Burson will be the featured musical performer.

Christy Eidson, the show producer and the Mistress of Ceremonies of "Girl on Girl Comedy," has been doing comedy for over ten years, founded a number of sketch groups in Nashville, studied with the Groundlings in Los Angeles, and travels the country doing standup.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Nashville Pittie. Nashville Pittie is an advocacy group built on the principle of education through compassion. PITTIE stands for "Pit Bull Initiative to Transform Image and Educate."

The goal of Nashville Pittie is to restore the Pit Bull’s positive image by: dispelling myths surrounding the breeds called Pit Bulls through education, promoting responsible ownership, and promoting spay/neuter programs and the importance thereof. Several location organizations and businesses havedonated items for their silent auction, including Lone Wolf Tattoo, Full Moon Tattoo & Horror Convention, SAW Wrestling, Goo Goo Clusters, Girl on Girl Comedy, the Redneck Comedy Tour, and many more. Local artist Stevn Dutton has offered to donation a portion of all this art sales for that evening to Nashville Pittie.
