Family Research Council grasps for relevance

Struggling to maintain some influence over American culture, the Family Research Council (FRC) has launched an all-out attack against McDonald’s for “financing attacks on marriage and the family as a new Corporate Partner of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)”. In a mass-email sent to supporters, FRC President Tony Perkins urged his followers to send McDonald’s a message by handing out fliers and signing a petition.

Perkins states that McDonald’s, through NGLCC, threatens the “very religious freedom we hold so dear”.
