Nashville Drag Queen and performance artist Cupcake Television, described as a mix of Pee Wee Herman and Divine, just released an absurd children’s album titled “Pizza Party.” The video for the first single “Poop In A Box” has been viewed over 50k times on Facebook (SEE BELOW). The album is available on all music platforms.

Cupcake is played by Kevin James Thornton, who is the 2010 winner of New Faces at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles and has been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered. His queer-folk group, Indiana Queen, has been featured in Out & About Nashville, Huffington Post, Cosmopolitan, and the Advocate.

Matthew J. Palm, theater critic for the Orlando Sentinel, called Thornton “an enthusiastic musician, a quick-witted comic and a really funny storyteller” and Cincinnati’s CityBeat said “he kept the audience in the palm of his hand during the sold out performance… he’s a fast-talking, high-energy powerhouse of a performer.”
