A café serving lunch, lite fare, wine and homemade desserts will open on Church Street in April.

Church Street Café will open adjacent to OutLoud in space that had been built to be a coffee shop operated by the bookstore. Instead, that space has been leased to Ron Sandford and Debra Hyslop, who have a combined 30-years of experience.

Co-owner Hyslop describes the cafe’ as a "vibrant space for everyone in Nashville – especially Midtown/Music Row," and refers to it as "a wonderful blend of East Nashville on the other side of the river."

Church Street Cafe’ will be equipped as a full wi-fi hotspot, and offer entertainment including comedians, live music from all genres, and more. Full catering and event production will be additional services that Hyslop and Standford will bring to the neighborhood.

Hyslop and Sandford said Church Street Cafe’ will be a welcoming home for the community, where glbt meetings private events, and new act launches will be held. See the full story in April’s edition of Out and About Newspaper.
