On this edition of Out & About Today, we’re previewing the upcoming Pride festival and looking back on its 20th anniversary. Pride member Todd Grantham sits down with Brent to give us a rundown of the upcoming events and tell us what to expect at this year’s festival.
Community activist Linda Welch joins Pam to discuss the significance of this being the 20th anniversary of the Pride event. She shares some of the history of the first Pride in 1988 and how the event has grown and changed over the last 20 years.
And Chuck has a preview of two of the artists headlining this year’s Pride festivities: billboard dance chart divas Kristin W and Ultra Nate. And new this year, a special Spirituality service has been added to the line-up. Todd Grantham and Rev. Cindy Andrews-Looper will tell us all about it.
