We could list the openly gay male pop artists that we know on two hands … okay maybe one. There's Elton John (who will release new music this fall), Adam Lambert (who recently parted ways with RCA records) and the Independence day media frenzy surrounding Steve Grand's "All-American Boy" video touting him as an openly gay country star (furthest thing from it) but what about other out artists making waves. We present Eli Lieb and Solomon- two artists whose latest singles are making waves.
Eli Lieb recently released the video for his latest single "Young Love." From his yet-to-be-released second album, the guitar-driven pop-rock track has been blowing our speakers up all summer long. It's accompanying video (see below), a positive representation of the GLBT community, has also been in heavy rotation around the office.
Solomon, an openly gay singer and rapper, has also released his single "The Way We Were" (lyric video below). The ambient, piano-driven track sprinkles in some synth and guitar resulting in catchy summer track for all those ending summer romances. Solomon is preparing the release of his new album When Boys Cry. For a limited time, fans can download a free remix of "The Way We Were."
