All in the Family, Out & About Nashville’s monthly events and entertainment column, spotlights performances, productions and presentations by (inter)nationally recognized artists in our LGBTQ family. From classic pop/rock icons to their musical offspring, this month’s offerings are at once modern and timeless. Here are the highlights:
7/2 – Mary Gauthier plays Bluebird Café
Acclaimed Americana singer/songwriter Mary Gauthier will share her stellar stories at the Bluebird, with special guest Sean Rowe.
Roosty, soulful singer/songwriter Daphne Willis will perform, along with Them Vibes and Leopold and His Fiction.
7/11 – Sinclair plays 12th & Porter
Indie pop/rock songster Sinclair will grace the 12&P stage, as will NAWAS and Natalie Royal.
7/17 – Melissa Etheridge plays Ryman Auditorium
Grammy-Award-winning rocker Melissa Etheridge will appear at the legendary “Mother Church of Country Music.”
Sassy, southern singer/songwriter Shelly Fairchild and her smokin’ hot band will serve up their country-fried rock-n-soul.
Back together again, Boy George and the original lineup will return to Nashville for the first time in two decades.
These three songbirds will spread their wings in a “Kendrick vs. Drake” competition, along with Chancellor Warhol, Levi Ray, Sik Wit, Chance Walker, TEMPLAR, and Drupy Fli Musik.
