All in the Family, Out & About Nashville’s monthly events and entertainment column, spotlights performances, productions and presentations by (inter)nationally recognized artists in our LGBTQ family. Coming off of Pride month and a historic SCOTUS ruling, there’s certainly a lot to celebrate. July provides Nashville-area folks a variety of opportunities to experience and enjoy. Here are the highlights:
Pardon the shameless self-promotion, but I am thrilled to be the featured author for East Side Story bookstore’s 62nd edition of its bi-monthly, recorded, live event, alongside local musician Lauren Farrah.
7/14 – Neon Trees plays Cannery Ballroom
Tyler Glenn and crew will bring their pop/rock party to NashVegas.
7/15 – Amelia White plays Music City Roots
The East-Nashville-based singer/songwriter will play the acclaimed roots and Americana variety show on the 15th, along with Mike & Ruthy, The Kentucky Head Hunters, and Reno Bo. In addition, White will play Mad Donna’s on the 25th and the Bluebird Café on the 30th.
7/19 – Kate Pierson (of the B-52s) plays City Winery
The B-52s resident redhead will stop in Music City as she tours her debut solo album. VIP and meet and greet options are available.
