Agape Animal Rescue will host its 3rd annual "Glitter and Glam" event on Sunday, July 17. Kacy Hagerty from WSMV’s Better Nashville will host this year’s affair supporting the organization’s fundraising efforts.
"Glitter and Glam" is a fashion show, silent and live auction, and wine tasting which will directly impact the many animals in need in the Middle Tennessee area. The event will be held from 5-8 p.m. at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville.
The array of auction items, estimated at a total value of $15,000, will include weekend retreats for your pets, select art pieces, unique Nashville Predators merchandise.
The featured doggie couture designer for this year’s fashion show is Tennessean Linda Higgins. Known for her beautiful interior designs and featured in magazines such as Southern Accents, New Woman, and People, Higgins has combined her passion for design with her love for dogs and created her own line of couture doggie dresses.
Tickets are available for $60 at the Agape Animal Rescue website. Agape is a non-profit 501c3 organization that relies on general support from the public. They are not funded by any agencies or organizations.
